Thanks to all our lodging guests, campers, permanent RV residents and daypassers for making this Memorial Day Weekend one to remember! We had a record number of tent campers this weekend. Even after some heavy rain showers Friday evening, spirits remained high and dry! The sun came out strong for the rest of the weekend and the remodeled pool has never looked so good. Of course having 200 plus hot looking men lounging about never hurts. The Tavern was in full swing the entire weekend, with a special appearance by Dixie Lee paying a special tribute to Dolly Parton. Chef Bill never lets the crowd down when it comes to meals. The excellent hot breakfast buffet and poolside cookouts were ever popular. Saturday was BBQ chicken and pulled pork and Sunday was blackened salmon filets and BBQ beef brisket all with fresh salads galore. Bill and I appreciate all of you and your continued support and patronage. Thanks to you Timberfell continues to grow and expand. If you missed this weekend we hope that you will book in for another weekend this season. “Sordid Lives” and July 4th are booking fast, but there are alot of other really fun weekends on the calendar this year. All you hot bears (and there were a quite a few present this weekend WOOF!) don’t forget about the Mr. TimBEAR contest this season. Bill Hall has reorganized and compiled all his reicpes in a new cookbook, “Timberfell Lodge:From Our Table to Yours”. The volume was sent to the printers this week and should be available at the end of June. Bill has included all your favorite recipes that he has prepared at the Lodge, and few extra recipes from our families. We are very excited to offer this new cookbook to you.
