Two years of planning and construction finally became a reality today!! The electricity was turned on at the new RV park expansion. This was the last major step in seeing this project to its completion. We have already begun moving residents into the new sites. There are a few RV sites still available. If you are interested in a permanent site, please do not delay in contacting us (timberfell@gmail.com). We still have a few vacancies for the Labor Day Weekend. Make plans to be there for all the fun!! Labor Day always is a sell out holiday and this one will be no different. We will have our annual ’70’s Disco Bash. This year it will be at the new and improved Tavern!! As many of you have seen the progress over the last few weeks, the major renovation on the Tavern is almost complete. We added 600 square feet to back of the building, complete with 2 sets of French doors that open up onto all new decking. We have also added new trussing and dance lighting. New paint and trim throughout have really enhanced the look of the interior. New rubberized flooring will go down this week as well as CENTRAL HEAT AND AIR!!! This is really going to make the Tavern a comfortable place to hang out!!
2008 has been a year of big changes at Timberfell. We appreciate your support, patronage, and patience through all the planning and construction. We try to keep making improvements for you!! We look forward to seeing all of you at the Lodge soon!!

This year marked one of the best years for participation in the Mr. Timberfell competition. We had 10 contestants, and all hot men they were indeed. Our panel of 5 judges certainly had their work cut out for them, as the it was a very close for all the participates. Thank you to all 10 of our contestants and judges for a fun and fast paced contest.
And the winners are!!!! Cole, from West Virginia , is the new Mr. Timberfell 2008. Austin, from Milan, Tennessee is the First Runner-up. Kirby (Stretchmassage) is the Second Runner-up. Congratulations men!! Make sure to give these a guys a shout out when you see them on the property.

The RV Park Expansion continues to move foward. The water lines and spigots have been set to each site. The electrical has also been run to each site. The power pedestals are on order and should be set soon. Greeneville Light and Power are on the property today to set the poles and and run electricity to the service panel. The water meter is completed.
We have actually ended up with only 17 sites (4 less than what we originally hoped for). We have 5 sites already reserved for residents in the lower RV park that need to move.
The Tavern is undergoing a major expansion as well. Mike (first RV on the right) designed a wonderful addition onto the back side of the building out from the exisiting billiards room. Wayne, our carpenter, has completed all the the new decking and has the addition under roof. This has more than doubled the size the the back section of the tavern. Thanks to Mike for his design expertise, not only on the Tavern but also the steam room, and to Wayne for his incredible carpentry. You can see his work all over the property, Tiki Bar, Steam Room, Annex Bathroom, Oak Room Bath. We appreciate you guys very much. Thanks to all our guests for your continued support and patronage.
